Role Overview:
Responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they function effectively and comply with NFPA standards. The role typically involves working in commercial and industrial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire safety codes.
- Perform functionality tests on sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, and other system components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within sprinkler systems, such as leaks, blockages, or faulty components.
- Stay updated on fire safety codes and regulations to ensure systems meet legal standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of fire sprinkler service experience
- NICET Level II Water Based Systems certification or Florida equivalent

Working Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to high and low temperatures
- Exposure to noise and dust
- Must be able to bend, climb, lift heavy tools and materials, and work in confined spaces.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, or working in awkward positions.
